DID YOU KNOW? CASE STUDY: BIRDS IN ROW
Did you know?
Birds In Row are a French hardcore punk band, hailing from Laval, Mayenne and formed in 2009. They signed to Deathwish Inc. in November 2011 and released their debut full-length You, Me & The Violence in January of 2012. Despite hailing from France, they choose to write in English in an effort for a wider scope of people to understand their lyricism.
But did you also know?
The members of Birds In Row intentionally obfuscate promotional photos of themselves in an attempt to brand themselves as a single entity instead of three individuals. "It's not about some individuals, but songs, ideas, points of view that our three lives have in common." The band members themselves professionally go by their single-letter initials, B, Q, and T.
Well, how about this one?
Set for release on July 17th is the band's long-awaited second full-length album We Already Lost The World via Deathwish Inc. Combining shades of abrasive hardcore with spacey post-punk elements, We Already Lost The World shadows its trademark hardcore roots with darker, more emotional slow-burning numbers.
- We Count So We Don't Have To Listen
- Love Is Political
- We vs. Us
- Remember Us Better Than We Are
- I Don't Dance
- Trist Sire
We Already Lost The World is to be released on July 13th, so there’s still time to pre-order your copy alongside exclusive tees, hoods, as well as an exclusive Coke Bottle Green vinyl variant!
