Did you know?
Boston Manor are a British Pop Punk band hailing from Blackpool, England and formed in 2013. In the group's early days the band released two EPs entitled Here/Now and Driftwood in 2013 and 2014, respectively but grew in popularity when they signed with Pure Noise Records and released their four-song EP Saudade in 2015.
But did you also know?
They released their debut full-length Be Nothing in 2016, which was met with positive reviews. Critics commended the band taking a darker route in their sound without entirely relinquishing their pop-punk roots. The success of the album led to them playing a string of festivals, including Vans Warped Tour as well as Kerrang! Tour.
Well, how about this one?
Set for release on September 17th is the band's hotly-awaited second full-length album Welcome To The Neighbourhood via Pure Noise Records. Vocalist Henry Cox describes the album as an ode to the band's hometown of Blackpool and its inevitable cultural decline throughout the years. "Blackpool was this booming town. It was a holiday destination, a place where you can go to forget all your troubles and now things here are just so fucked up – huge drug problems and a 40% unemployment rate in the winter. It was once this beautiful thing and it’s become a little bit broken.”
