DID YOU KNOW? CASE STUDY: CIRCA SURVIVE

Did you know?

Circa Survive was formed in 2004 following vocalist Anthony Green’s departure from Saosin earlier that year. Green cited being depressed and homesick upon which returned to his hometown of Doylestown, Pennsylvania where he met with friend Colin Frangicetto, and with support from Equal Vision Records, procured more members to release their debut EP The Inuit Sessions in 2005.

But did you also know?

Contemporary American artist Esao Andrews painted the artwork for the band’s debut full-length Juturna, and thereinafter for every one of the band’s releases, maintaining a long-lasting work relationship throughout Circa Survive’s entire career. Andrews primarily paints with oils on wood panels and blends surrealism with gothic character design.

Well how about this one?

Coming September 22nd is the band’s upcoming studio album, The Amulet, to be released through Hopeless Records. This is the band’s sixth full-length record written and performed with the same five members, all of which have been with the band throughout its entire lifespan thus far.
