A huge thanks to everybody who came down and made the very first rendition of Australia's Download Festival an overwhelming success, despite having some of the worst weather Melbourne has seen all year.
Download sported an absolutely killer lineup that was diverse enough to bring together heavy music heads of all ages. From the likes of Korn and Limp Bizkit who catered towards people's high-school soundtrack to Gojira, Mastodon, as well as our own boys from Northlane and Ocean Grove who continue to absolutely destroy with their live performances. Suffice to say, it was a day filled with absolutely killer music. Who were your highlights?
Also, big ups to everyone who swung by our pop-up store and got some mean looking corpse face paint done and helped raise money for Headspace Australia. Absolute legends! With over 20,000 people in attendance, we want to thank all the bands, staff, volunteers and punters for being involved in what is hoped to be the first of many Aussie Download Festivals, proving that Australia is a force to be reckoned with.
Take that, rest of the world!
