Held on one Saturday every April and every Black Friday in November to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record stores, RSD brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores around the world. After a massive Hottest 100 countdown in January, National broadcaster triple j recently revealed they will no longer be releasing the coveted Hottest 100 compilation CDs. However, in some truly exciting Record Store Day news, it has been revealed that a hand-picked selection of some of the broadcaster’s most beloved Like A Version covers of the past 12 months will be pressed to vinyl in a limited run of exclusive RSD drops for Record Store Day 2022. This includes the famed 2021 Hottest 100 winner and highest ranking Like A Version cover of all time, ‘Elephant’ by Tame Impala as covered by The Wiggles!
